The Rules of Attraction
Roger Avery's only claim to fame was being credited for Pulp
Fiction's screenplay along with Quentin Tarantino. How much he was really involved, I
have no idea. But his talent seemingly started and stopped there. The Rules of
Attraction, his second shot at directing a feature film (the first was the abysmal Killing
Zoe), is a pointless exercise in crass filmmaking and is, without exception, the film
to miss this year. Don't even be tempted. Please, Roger, never make another film again. |
