The "Sharper Focus" column
began when HD DVD and Blu-ray first came to market. Each article contained an update
on the emerging technologies as well as numerous "snapshot"-type reviews. The
column was retired in October 2006 when HD DVD and Blu-ray titles were incorporated
into our standard full-length review series. All articles are archived below.
